Duties & Resonsibilities: Position Description: The position will report to the Manager of Supply and Demand Planning and be responsible for the following key areas: Multi Site Inventory Management 1. Develop and deploy inventory purchasing strategies to ensure continuity of supply and efficient distribution of product from internal and external vendors (primarily Asia), to multiple DCs and ultimately HCG customers. Specifically, a. Take responsibility for overall inventory planning for a specific product group. b. Coordinate requirements for US, Asia and Europe c. Manage expedited shipments from inventory planning standpoint. 2. Partner with stakeholders in sales, marketing, finance, demand planning and order administration teams to maximize customer fulfillment while concurrently minimizing working capital investment and landed cost. Ensure alignment with division’s financial plans. Present recommended monthly purchase adjustments and assumptions to cross-functional S&OP team for consensus agreement.
